Position: Cashier/Barista

Location: Dandelion Cafe @ Rice University (6100 Main St. MS-355 Houston, TX 77005)

Role Overview: We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic FOH to join our team. The ideal candidates will be hard worker with a passion for coffee and customer service. As a FOH Employee at Dandelion Cafe, you will play a crucial role in delivering the best experience to our customers, from crafting the perfect espresso to creating a warm and inviting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages with precision and consistency.
• Engage with customers, taking orders, and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and cafe areas.
• Restock supplies and inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth cafe operations.
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work multiple stations on the same shift
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for coffee and a desire to be part of a supportive and innovative team culture.
